Schedule, Schedule, Schedule!

Hello all! This week’s post consists of:
Friday, February 27 – Thursday, March, 5!

Home Projects:
This week we worked more on painting L’s room. I still have yet to to put up the wall paper or finish the roof, but we’re getting there! It doesn’t help that she’s also trying to kick me out of her room if I’m in there too long. Guys, she’s about to be 5 and already yelling at me, “I want to be alone!” just so she can watch her Kaven Adventures in peace (he and his father play different roblox games and it’s on the Happy Kids roku channel, for anyone interested.)
This week I spent less time working on the appearance of the house and more focused on the engine of the house. ME! 😛 I wanted to make things a bit easier on my mental load, so the passed few days I’ve been making a schedule for me and the kids to somewhat keep up with (we don’t force it to be to the exact times or letter), a menu for the kids to choose from so we’re not constantly wondering and spending 20 mins trying to figure out what to eat, and a checklist for the girls so they can remember to do the things that are necessary each day. I’ll post pictures of all of these things below. (Side note: gym for the kids is actually them going into the play area while mom and dad work out)

Books:
Ok! So I know everyone is talking about the SJM interview because she just announced the two upcoming release dates because she was so happy to get back to Prythian that she gave us MORE books than necessary. A literal QUEEN.
As far as the books I’ve read, I finished The Women by Kristin Hannah and it was a sad and beautiful book based loosely on real events that happened for the nurses in the Vietnam War. Kristin Hannah worked closely with women as well as men who fought and aided the soldiers in the Vietnam War to make sure her book was as historically accurate as possible, while also being a fiction about a young woman’s service as a nurse. I always thought I hated history, but turns out, I hate learning dates and having to memorize them for stupid tests that won’t affect my life in the slightest after I’m out of school. I actually genuinely love history, but DON’T as me dates of anything besides the JFK assassination. Either way, PLEASE give this book a try, it’s beautiful. I picked it because I saw a reaction video of “Iamblackharry” where he was crying and showed the book. Instant TBR addition. And now she has been finished and was truly worth it. The other book I finished this week was Bride by Ali Hazelwood. This book was cute and funny, I loved the FMC because she was just so sarcastic and true about voicing her feelings instead of holding everything in ALL the time like many other FMC I’ve read. It’s a vampire female who is forced to marry the Alpha of the werewolves near them to form an alliance between the two. It was very funny, but if you need a bit of a warning, it does have spice AND I’d give it a think about what is related to MALE werewolves/dogs/wolves during mating. Just in case that’s not your style.

Fiber Arts:
I’ve started the color change on the second sleeve after having to restart 2-3 rows at LEAST 3 times because I kept forgetting that I needed to color change lol. I’ll get you all a picture of our sweater below. I think I really will be able to finish it before April. (Still haven’t bought tickets to go see Tom again, BUT I WILL!) Might even take the time to go see Daniel Radcliffe while he’s on Broadway too! ❤

Trips:
We didn’t go anywhere this week except to have lunch with my mother-in-law who’s birthday was Sunday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LORI! I LOVE YOUUUU! ❤
L is also very excited to be going to her YES DAY, this upcoming Monday, I’ll make an entire post about it! ❤
We’ll see you all next week! Thank you again for staying this far ❤
