Post Spring Break

Hello all! This week’s update is for: Friday, March 20 – Thursday, March 26.

Home Projects:
This week I FINALLY put up the wallpaper in L’s room. I still have to finish cutting the excess and putting up the divider piece that will separate the wallpaper from the bottom. I also still have to finish the roof or do something with it, so please excuse the roof when you see the picture!
We also got these standing pantries for the dining room because our only pantry closet is so small that it would barely fit a pair of shoes because it’s not deep at all. So we got a set of three mix and match pantries from Amazon and they’re so cute, I love them.

Fiber Arts:
I’m still slowly working on the Draco sweater, but I’m very in my head about making sure I do it properly that I keep just staring at it and redoing parts when I’m not sure I’ll like the finished result. I have FINALLY started working on the cuffs of one of the sleeves, but it’s still ongoing. My big thing this week was getting a larger yarn winder so I could finally organize all the lose yarn that’s in random vacuum sealed bags and crates. It’s so satisfying to see the store skein turn into a wound “ball.”

Books:
I DID finish Brimstone, and while I did love listening to Kingfisher talk to me again, it seemed like it was a bit all over the place? Like it didn’t have as much of a structured timeline that it followed. We were in the last couple chapters and an entirely new event started to take shape. Leaving on a huge cliffhanger, but it didn’t give the reader much time to process before it was telling me, “this is the end of Brimstone.” I’m taking a BIT of a hiatus by rereading the Throne of Glass series, and may even reread Sunrise on the Reaping. So new books will probably not be posted on here for a bit. ❤

Trips:
After our Disney trip, our only outings have been to the gym, and walmart. Which are an event in themselves because the girls always seem to make it a struggle for us to get anything done without deciding that one of them MUST get frustrated, or decide that they are too tired to walk, or just want to be home watching TV or trying to coerce us into giving them their iPads. D:
But that’s life for you, with three small princesses who are as stubborn as their mother.
