This post will cover two weeks: Friday, April 3 – Thursday, April 16.
Heads up, I’ve been basically just existing these passed couple weeks. The kids have been up throughout the night constantly and it’s made it really hard for me to get passed the exhaustion to get anything done.
Home projects:
We cleared up the front yard a bunch and are thinking about leveling the back yard to move the shed, girl’s playhouse, and trampoline over to. But our next few weekends are going to be pretty busy, so we’ll see how long that takes to get off the ground. We also cleared the fenced in side yard and I put down old cardboard and the garden tarp over so we can put our planters and the greenhouse where we are certain it’ll get more sun. I’ll post pictures once it’s not a disaster. It’s about to get absolutely sweltering here in Florida, so it’s only a matter of time before the outside work comes to a standstill.
Books:
This is where I’ve really soared these past couple weeks. I started Dungeon Crawler Carl on Tues. April 7 and I’m about to finish the 5th book. It’s been such a fun ride. I really should listen to my friend Nick about which books I should be reading because he told me to read Red Rising which was incredible and Dungeon Crawler Carl which has ALSO been incredible. I thought it was just going to be a meme series but it’s really fun for someone who enjoys fantasy and Dungeons and Dragons. I also BEG you to listen to the audio, it is so expertly done that I genuinely think I’ll go reread the series after I’m caught up. The eighth book comes to audible on May 12. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE at least listen to the first one because it’s SOOOO good with audio.
ALSOOOOO!!!! I got my Throne of Glass Stained Glass set from Heirloom Bookstores and it’s absolutely incredible! I’ll add a link for it if any of you are interested! ❤

Fiber Arts:
I have taken a bit of a break with the fiber projects, BUT I did make a tiny sweater for my Labubu. Which is ridiculous but also so stinking cute! The girls are all asking me to make sweaters for their labubus, so that is the next plan. I also haven’t finished the Draco sweater, but I have a large extension because he decided to stay on broadway all the way until November! I’m so excited, I know for certain that I’ll be able to see him again. I’m thinking we’ll wait till a bit later in the year so it’ll be cooler again.

Trips:
No where to go these past couple weeks, but my dad and step mom did visit from Mississippi last weekend before he starts a job in Texas and won’t be able to come by again for a while. I also made our plans for our youngest daughter, S’s bday at Disney in November. We’ll be staying in a one bedroom at Old Key West, which is one of our favorite resorts that we’ve had the pleasure of going to. I have pictures from the last time and will leave them down below.
